Authority : The Director of the Department of Health pursuant to the authority set forth under § 302(14) of the District of Columbia Health Occupations Revision Act of 1985 ("Act"), effective March 15, 1986 (D.C. Law 6-99; D.C. Official Code § 3-1203.02(14)), and Mayor's Order 98-140, dated August 20, 1998.

Editor's Note : The Errata Notice published at 59 DCR 1759 (March 2, 2012) corrected an error in numbering as it pertains to section 4609. Notice of Final Rulemaking 52 DCR 10566 (December 2, 2005) created section 4609 (Physician's Profile). In February 2006, the Department of Health created another section 4609 but did not intend to repeal the existing section. To avoid any confusion, section 4609 will be entitled, "Physician's Profile," and the other section 4609 that was created in February 2006 is renumbered section 4616, Standards for the Use of Controlled Substances for the Treatment of Pain."
